Working the weekends and long hours here in Portland is proving difficult to get good blog material. I eat Chipotle for lunch, walk 20 minutes to and from work, pass the same buildings and barely have the energy to eat dinner, let alone explore this amazing city.
Well, that changed today.
Lauren and I woke up early, had a yummy breakfast, and explored the waterfalls that are about 30 minutes outside of Portland (an hour if you take the scenic route)
First stop: Chanticleer Point
Kind of gloomy but still magnificent
Next up: Latourell Falls
Slug
Third Stop: Bridal Veil
Wahkeena Falls (aka wimpy falls)
This was my favorite... The Multnomah Falls!
Looks inviting right? It was absolutely frigid out there.
So glad I was able to experience the falls! I wish I would have brought my real camera but iPhone did an okay job. Honestly, I don't know if my camera could have done the trick... you have to see it for yourself :)
Reminds me of the NC mountains. Portland looks wonderful. Don't work too hard!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing!! I miss those NC mountains ;)
