Crafty Monday.

I did this project a few months ago and it has totally changed the feel of our living room. We had a blank white wall with a weird mirror over it and I couldn't find anything I wanted.. until Pinterest gave me a super cute suggestion :)

I bought 6 crates from Michaels for about $12 a piece.

I got some walnut colored stain and a clear gloss. I stained all of the crates [this was the worst part! it seriously took forever!]

We basically just have candles and blankets shoved into each space but it really has warmed the place up! Thanks pinterest, for another great idea!

Nautical Love

It's almost the end of January and I am itching for spring & summer. Even though I live in Florida and it actually feels like the beginning of spring, it doesn't really feel like it.

The nautical look is so classic and will always be in style. Here are some drool-worthy nautical finds:

Can't find where this dress is from but I need it!

Gorgeous table setting

Had to throw some self promotion in there ;) What do you think of the nautical look? Classic or old news?

New Invitations!

Hello! It's been a whiiiiile... but with wedding planning, working and creating new designs for my etsy shop, I've been pretty busy.

Here are some new invitations I've made in the past few weeks. Take a look, let me know what you think, and most importantly, order something! ;)

Stop by my store or leave a comment if you would like for me to make something custom for you.

Holiday Cards are coming!

Okay, I'm making a plethora of Christmas cards, most of which are appropriate, but I just had to make this:

If you don't want "balls" in your Christmas card, I can kind of understand that. I am making cards with pictures and then simple, chic cards with a simple modern graphic.

Check in with my etsy store periodically... I'll be posting custom Christmas cards soon!!

More Wine Labels!

I spent most of my night working on my new blog design... I'm really glad I know how to edit certain things now because I get sick of what it looks like quite often. Basically like every other day. We'll see how long this one lasts! [I give it two weeks]

Anywho, I wanted to post my new wine labels. They might not look very new because I've had a version of them on my etsy store for a while. However, I was asked to make table numbers and I really liked how they came out! Observe...

I think this is such a cute detail for a wedding or even for a party! The labels are affordable and so is the design! Message me on etsy if you want to make a custom label.

I also made another wine label that I can't post yet but I am REALLY excited about that one ;) stay tuned!

Three Ingredient Pumpkin Treats

I found a new favorite cookie/cupcake [that's right, it can be a cookie AND a cupcake] and I have a love/hate relationship with it. WHY did I make these?! We've eaten almost all of them in TWO days.

They're pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies [or you can make cupcakes] and they are the easiest treat you'll ever make. Also, they are the devil. You've been warned.

These are really the only two ingredients you need. But of course I've added chocolate. But you don't need it if you just want to make some cupcakes or muffins.

Just mix the two ingredients & preheat to 350...

... add some chocolate...

Bake for 18-20 minutes and BAM, you've got amazingly easy and delicious (and might I add festive) cookies. I put the extra batter in cupcake tins and made cupcakes topped with cream cheese & cinnamon frosting. Yep, I had leftover frosting and I added some cinnamon. AMAZE.

I'll leave you with a craft. I went to Michael's and got a letter, twine and a fake flower. The twine was kind of hard so if I do it again, I might try something different.

L for Love, Leigh or Lamb. Either one works :)

Wedding Timeline

I have to post this because I'm kind of obsessed with it.

A few weeks ago, I made a wedding timeline for my friend Lisa. She got married in Kentucky and wanted her timeline to reflect her hometown state. So, we put the entire red state (Politics? Nope! UofL? YES!) in the background. Lisa was tickled and I think they turned out wonderfully, if I don't say so myself!

I made another option without the state but I think the state really gives it a little something extra!

If you're wanting something like this for your big day, visit my etsy store and snatch it up! :)
