Wedding Chatter

I have to admit something... I have been in full wedding mode ever since we got engaged! We said we were going to take a week and not talk about plans... NOPE. Once we started talking about it, it's like we can't stop! One thing that I haven't even thought about is...

I know, I know... I feel like less of a woman for not immediately thinking of what I'd like to wear walking down the aisle but I have plenty of time. I thought I'd use my little blog to display what I'm attracted to... observe ;)

Warning: I've got a theme going on with this post... Lace. Lace. LACE!

I'm attracted to stuff that would never look good on me.. go figure.

I saw this picture almost a year ago and just found out that this bride was married very close to where we're thinking of getting married!

Ahh love me some lace :)

Beachy lace!

That's all I've found so far.. any favorites? Send me pictures/pins my way :)

Chapel Hill Shopping

While in Chapel Hill, of course I found some shopping! If you remember from 2 weekends ago, I went to South Point mall (which was amazing) and last night, I made my way to Tanger Outlets!

This outlet mall has almost every store you could imagine for an outlet mall.. and if you're in the area, I highly recommend you check it out. Here are a few stores that got me excited:
  • Banana Republic
  • Coach
  • J. Crew
  • Tommy
  • DKNY
  • BCBG
  • Kay's
  • Guess
  • Michael Kors
  • Nine West
  • Vineyard Vines
  • Ralph Lauren
  • Nike
  • Loft

It's a very cute little area with tons of great deals and a food court, too!

Thanks to J.Crew's awesome deals, I got this little navy striped cardi for $20!

What I'm Loving Wednesday ;)

Okay, I'm not going to bore you all with my words... just feast your eyes on what I am loving this week! Don't care what I love? Find another blog to read ;)

I love these old books... I kind of want them for decorative purposes though, and not for reading :)

Loving Harry Potter so much that I ripped the book in half!

This fancy color is currently on my toes

My birthday is this weekend and I really want to sip on mojitos all weekend!

I love LC's style and I am dreaming of fall and this look takes me there.

Again, love LC. Want to steal her bag.

Gray and yellow, gray and blue... you name it, I'm a sucker for gray. Does that mean I'm boring?

Getting my hair did on Thursday and I'm thinking about this length. I alway pick pictures of JA, I secretly just want a face transplant.. and body transplant.

I am depressed because I'll never have this bathroom. Pinterest is amazing but also makes me sad.

What are YOU loving today?

Nice Little Saturday

At little Bed, Bath & Beyond.. maybe Home Depot?

Okay jokes, but it actually was a nice little weekend. Wish I could have been at my friend Amber's baby shower but I heard that baby Hudson got lots of goodies!

I ran some errands on Saturday and made my way out to the South Point mall. I got a late start and all of a sudden it was 3:30 and I was starving. I stopped at Rock Fish Grille and as you can see from this picture, it was an amaaaazing salad. I am definitely going back for more.

Then I decided to see a movie! I absolutely love going to the movies, and while I'd prefer to be accompanied by other, I can do either :)

I saw Crazy Stupid Love and I loved it! I must have been having a weird day though because I cried almost all the way through the movie. It's not a particularly sad movie but some of it just struck a chord with me. I definitely recommend it and I have a new love for Ryan Gosling (swoon) and I adore Emma Stone!

Next I went to Urban Outfitters and LOOK who has a book... BOO!!!

I took a stroll and ended up in Anthropologie... ohh if only I could afford anything in that store. These are some of the things I'm daydreaming about from there:

I could actually probably afford most of these items but I went over my budget by then :)

This was the main area of South Point.. and they even had a band out there!

Ole Katie B has me hooked on Penfold's! I tried this bottle and it was okay... doesn't really hold a candle to Penfold's Bin 2.

Made my way home to make a semi healthy dinner of BBQ chicken breast and broccoli. Mmm :) hope you all had a great weekend!

What I'm Loving Wednesday :)

After a fabulous weekend with my girls and my man, it's hard to snap back into reality. We had such an incredible weekend and I realized, I'd never been to a beach wedding before! Katie and her crew planned such an amazing wedding.. right down to the favors! They had it all: wine stoppers, flip flops to wear to the beach, coozies, tote bags, chapstick, and the list goes on! Today, I am LOVING beach weddings! Check out what else I'm loving today :)

Okay.. so I was out looking for leases today and I found this boutique that opened THIS WEEK! It's called Bevello and I know where I'm going this weekend.. gotta find a birthday dress!

I am loving this picture of UNC's campus! I was out there today and yes, it was hot as balls. But I stopped to appreciate how beautiful campus is, and I'm glad I did :)

I am also loving that they have a Hot Yoga studio in Chapel Hill! I paid $20 for 7 days unlimited and if you're a regular at Hoga, you know that's a sweet deal. Bring on the sweat!

I know, I'm a little late to the this band wagon but I am excited! Gregg and I started this conversation because we're going to Orlando in a few weeks (ahhh!) and he doesn't want me to feel left out when he is ooohhhing and ahhhing at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter or whatever. So he bought me the first book, and I'm loving it!

Welp, that's all I've got for today and it's almost officially Thursday :)

Shopping Emergency!

If you can't keep track of where I am, don't feel bad... I am literally all over the place. If you're reading this, then I'll let you know I'm in Chapel Hill, NC for the next few weeks. Although, Katie Little's wedding is this weekend so I'm leaving Thursday afternoon for Destin, FLORIDA!!! Luckily, that's where the bf lives so I'm getting the best of both worlds at this wedding!

Okay but down to business. I packed all kinds of stuff but couldn't decide what to wear for Katie's actual wedding so I'm banking on finding a dress... TOMORROW!

I will say, I found a very cute boutique online, with the CUTEST little name... let's hope it delivers in person! Fingers crossed :)

Wish me luck and stay tuned for what I find!

Adventures in the Twin Cities!

As promised, I did some exploring today! I found out today that there was a 2 story Target in downtown Minneapolis so I just had to check that out. Also, I had quite a few things I needed from there so it was a win-win. Here's some fairly dangerous pictures I took while driving - I don't recommend doing that.

 Target!

I have talked to a few people who are familiar with Minneapolis and they've given me a list of places I have to eat while I'm here... so I'm planning on slowly working through the list!
Zelo just so happened to be right across the street from Target so I went there for dinner! It's exactly my scene... swank and modern. They've also got some pretty friendly people there!

Ahhh... Ahi Tuna... I couldn't resist...
... and that's not a big pile of wasabi... it's wasabi MASHED POTATOES!!! I was in heaven :)
Cute little outdoor seating.. if only I had friends here to join me......... depressed.

I mentioned in my last post that I did some research regarding where I should go during my stay here. I came across a picture of a giant cherry resting on top of a giant spoon. Obviously, I had to go there immediately.

How cool is this?! It's called the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and it's actually a park where people actually go to run and walk their pets. It's also one of the largest sculpture parks in the country. And before today, I didn't realize that sculpture parks were a real thing.

Tomorrow, I'm heading to the very famous Mall of America (uh oh) and I'm going to check out the new restaurant that opened today called Soul Daddy. If you watch America's Next Great Restaurant, you'll be familiar with Soul Daddy because that was the winning restaurant! I sure hope SD serves Chicken N Waffles because I'm dying to know what that's about.

Until then, cheers!
