My New Fave: Spaghetti Squash

People, have you heard of Spaghetti Squash? I had literally never heard of this magical vegetable until recently and I am gaga over this thing!

There are so many ways you can make it too! My favorite way to make it is in the microwave. I know that sounds weird but it takes 10 minutes and voila! you have spaghetti squash!

This isn't the best picture of my spaghetti squash spaghetti (the sauce was kind of runny, as you can see) but I am obsessed! I also made Baked Spaghetti Squash and it was amazeballs!

 Are there any other magic vegetable that I need to know about?!

Hey Crafty!

Recently, I've had the urge to go full on Suzy Homemaker. I want to bake, cook, clean [yeah, just kidding about that one], decorate and do fun at home projects!

Example: My first project. I took a normal busted vanity stool and turned it into something that makes me absolutely giddy whenever I walk into the bathroom!

It's safe to say I'm obsessed with everything Chevron. 

I ordered the fabric from Amazon and I'm pretty sure it was originally from Fabric.com - there were so many awesome patterns, I had a hard time deciding which one to go with. I'm pretty happy with my choice. And it was so easy [just measure it, cut the fabric according to the measurements and put some push pins in there] I figure if I want to change the fabric later, I totally can.

New Beginnings!

Today is my first day at the new job! 

This week, we're doing some home training and then we're going to be in Dallas for a week of training!

My best friend lives in Dallas so after training, I'm staying for the weekend. Oh, and GL is coming up too! Wooo whoooo!!

The Last Supper

Last night was my last official night in Hattiesburg! I have a new job and will no longer be the travel broad. Although, I'm sure I'll still travel quite a bit.. and probably to better places than Hattiesburg [sorry, Hburg!]

I want this serveware!!! That's mainly why I took the picture.. it was mediocre salsa and hummus but I want that serveware for all the awesome parties I'm going to throw. Boom.

I've met some amazing people and visited some of the coolest places. I'm so thankful and lucky and I've learned so much from this experience. Most of my knowledge applies to airport ettiquette and that's something I'll need forever. So, don't go in front of me during the security screening. I will most likely be fully undressed behind you and tapping my foot because you're taking too long.

Photo Day 15: Phone

This challenge is kind of strange but here is a picture of my phone. It's covered in receipts because I'm finishing up my expense report, and today is my last day of work! So this photo is taken with my work iPhone that I'm sending back today. It's going to be sad to only have one iPhone.

I'm very excited to start my new job. I've really enjoyed traveling and I've learned so much but it's time to settle down a bit and live a semi-normal life. Although I'm sure I won't slow down that much :)

Happy Love Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, People! I love this holiday, single or coupled up. One of my favorite Valentine's Day was with my friend Lauren. We were both single and we went out for cocktails, dinner, pedicures and a movie! It was seriously so much fun... so this holiday is what you make of it.

However, I feel lucky in love today [okay, and every day]. This past weekend, GL went above and beyond for Valentine's Day [since I'm not in town this week] and this upcoming weekend, we're going to my family's lake house [one of my favorite places in the world] for a Vday Retreat! [happy, happy!]

Happy Valentine's Day week, party people! I had such an amazing weekend at home [still weird calling Florida home, but I'm getting used to it].

I really suck at posting pictures for the February Photo Challenge but I'm pretty good at taking the pictures! I just forget to post... so here we go:

Oh hey, there I am! We had a parade last week and I wore the monkey head for a while. It smells terrible inside of that monkey head so I don't recommend doing that.

Waking up to Curb Your Enthusiasm on TV and my sweet man putting together our nightstands. And just being at home really makes me happy :)

Have you ever been to Ruth's Chris? Gregg took me there on Friday and OMG it was so amazing and veryyy romantic. Do yourself a favor and drop hints to your man that you really want to go :)
