Wine & Design

Last week, I felt like I could never cool down. It's been so hot here and I feel like the only thing cools me off is a good, refreshing glass of white wine. I have a new favorite and I wanted to share:

I've only had the Pinot Grigio (my all time favorite white wine) and it's dangerously good. Also, it doesn't hurt that it has such a cute label! Check out their website to order or you can get it at any grocery or liquor store. 

I was just playing around tonight and made a Bachelorette Party invitation for my friend Danielle! She had no idea but I just had an idea for a simple but chic nautical themed invitation and I just went with it! Also, have you ever searched etsy or even googled bachelorette invitations? It's slim pickens out there!

Thoughts? I am obsessed with the anchor in the middle of the wheel :)

Let's Have a Fiesta!

There are two things I crave: mexican food and girls nights! [And yes, I've basically blogged about this already] I love my man but I love a good night of wine/margs, eating good homemade food and catching up with my girlfriends! Lately, most of my girls nights have been via phone or FaceTime but I am absolutely craving some QT with my girls.

I have friends coming in late Thursday night (no excuses about being tired, we're staying up for wine!) and then we're road tripping to Gulf Shores for Shannon's wedding! I absolutely can't wait to see everyone and I'm sure I'll be depressed to leave. Love my girls!

Okay, got off the subject so back to Mexican food and booze. I made a fun little fiesta invite for a casual ladies night... who wants margs?! I need tequila & gossip asap.

Personalized Wine Label

I really like the idea of custom wine labels for a reception. I was just playing around and came up with some circus-y (not sure if that's a word but just go with me) themed wine labels. Tell me what you think!

Thoughts? It's a little loud but I think it's super fun!

Let's Toast!

I feel like I am constantly looking for fun party ideas.. not even necessarily wedding stuff just unique party ideas! I saw a picture on pinterest a while ago and there was a mimosa bar. If you know me, you know I love mimosas. I wish it was just a breakfast drink so it wouldn't be weird if I want to order it at the bar or dinner!

I totally agree... Champagne is the answer!

I basically started teaching myself photoshop so I could make cute and simple tags for parties and also simple invitations. Here are some simple tags for a fun champagne brunch!

I have been teaching myself graphic design and to say "I'm obsessed" is a bit of an understatement. I literally stayed in bed all day today [um, it's a Saturday and my crew is on a boat] to learn as much as I can about photoshop, etc.
